Factory Vintage, based out of San Diego, California was born out of a simple observation, the need for stylish recycled fashion. While traveling throughout Central America, owner Rick Coburn drew inspiration from fashion and culture, bringing back to the states plenty of ideas that would later be used to form his concept of how his vintage store should be supplied and run.

The privately owned company has a distinctive ambiance that sets them apart from other boutiques in the area. With its Tropical meets Urban influence, the store has such a fashionable charisma, welcoming customers to something different than a typical chain store. Merchandise wise, compared to other vintage retailers, Factory Vintage does all the hard work so the customer does not have to! From stocking the hardest to find vintage attire, and re-constructed eco friendly lines, to organizing it by style and color, the selection and arrangement at Factory Vintage is a step above similar retailers.

Dealing solely with a vintage wholesaler, Factory Vintage offers only the best available vintage clothing in the market. While the store has kept the same basic concept since its formation, the quality of merchandise has grown exponentially. The continuously changing vintage stock ranges from vintage western pearl snaps to 1950's and 1960's mod-style dresses, with everything in between. Factory Vintage also has one of the best selections of vintage Levi jeans in the state, some Levi’s dating back to the 1940’s. Seasonal items are also consistently in stock such as guayabera’s in the spring and summer to vintage sweaters in the fall and winter.

Today, Factory Vintage has grown in operations from one man’s vision to an entire team’s realization. With an amazingly knowledgeable and dedicated staff behind it, Factory Vintage is now recognized worldwide with their products in the far reaches of the world. The store’s fashion influence has also struck a cord in the entertainment industry, having spotted Factory Vintage merchandise in plenty of movies, television shows, as well as on numerous musicians. The dream continues to grow, and will continue on its path, ever adapting and growing along with the ideas and dreams of its team members.
